ZONE OF INFLUENCE The zone of influence in the Port of Coatzacoalcos is formed by the states of : Veracruz, Tabasco, Puebla, Estado de México, Oaxaca, Campeche and Chiapas. On the other hand, the route Coatzacoalcos- Salina Cruz, is the shortest way to connect the Gulf of Mexico with the Pacific Ocean, at only 302 km. The zones of influence that represent 80% of the Market in the Port of Coatzacoalcos are: Veracruz, Oaxaca, Campeche, Tabasco and Chiapas. The remanining 20% is formed by: Puebla, Tlaxcala, Estado de México, Distrito Federal, Quintana Roo and Yucatán.
